This is a response from a questions asked about the book Rules from a student that I know.
David doesn't stand in the way on purpose, but sometimes embarrasses her or steals attention. I think Catherine has done a good job of not letting David hold her back. In someways David helps her because he didn't go to the clinic she would never have met Jason. David has also helped make Catherine more understanding of people's feelings.

Educational Websites
These are few websites that I found helpful for teachers and students in the classroom.
http://rubistar.4teachers.org/index.php- This website is nice for making Rubrics for any assignment you give your students.
www.readwritethink.org
www.pbskids.org- This is a site that younger students could get on during free time and play games.
www.ldonline.org- This is a great website for teachers who are looking to learn more about learning disabilities.

What'sHappening in the Classroom
Letterpop is a great website were teachers can go and create interesting newsletters with different backgrounds and places for pictures. Newsletters are important to keep communication going between a teacher and student's parents. They are a nice way to tell parents what's happening in the classroom that week or month. I have posted a link to a newsletter that I created using Letterpop.

"Personal Thought"
The other day I received some very exciting news. I am going to do my Student Teaching at Frank V. Bergman in a Kindergarten classroom. I am looking forward to this experience very much and cannot wait until the fall. Today was my last day in the sixth grade classroom and it was a very interesting experience. I did not have that much experience with older students and they are very different than the primary grades. I will always remember my time in the sixth grade classroom but hope to be able to teach in the young primary grades.
